Getting Started

Before beginning your online course(s), it’s important that you ensure everything is understood properly from the beginning. Below are the steps that outline your online learning experience.  It will help you prevent any headaches further down the line.  In order to receive Mechanical PEU credits for St. Louis County, you must accept the terms & Conditions verifying your identity and the class on the course page that you are taking.

Step 1 – Purchase your Course

The first thing you need to do after you choose your desired course is to purchase it.  We currently accept PayPal.  You can use a credit card if you don’t have a PayPal account.  Each user needs to have their own account.  If you have more than one employee that needs PEUs, you MUST create a separate account for each of them with THEIR OWN EMAIL ADDRESS.

Step 2 – Register

NEW USERS register by filling in the necessary information during the purchase process.  Enter your username in this format (firstname.lastname example: John.Smith) and choose a password.  Write them down somewhere secure.  Be careful to keep them safe, they will allow you to track your progress and access your results (including your certificates).  You’ll need to use your legal first and last names as you register no matter what the name is on the credit card, these will be placed on your certificate upon completion of your course(s).  After purchase, go to the “My Account ” page found on the main menu bar.  Find your course and click on the title.

Step 3 – Track Your Progress 

As you work to complete your Course(s), and each lesson, your progress is saved and made available to you at your “My Account ” Page.

Step 4 – Receiving Your Certificate(s)

At the completion of your lessons, you will be required to take the final exam.  When you pass the final exam with 70% or better, Click on the PRINT CERTIFICATE button.  Download a .pdf copy of your certificate.  Save it to your computer for a digital record, and print it out for a hard copy if you want.  We’ll submit the roster and all needed information to St. Louis County for your License renewal.
