MO Asbestos Management Planner Refresher

COMING SOON!

This is the Missouri Accredited Self-Paced Asbestos Management Planner Refresher course.

Here are the things you will need to do at the end of the training session:

  1. Fill out the registration form to schedule your proctored MO Asbestos Management Planner Course Exam at your earliest availability, (offered on Thursday afternoons 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. US Central time).
  2. If you did not train with STC last time, you must upload a copy of your current Asbestos Building Inspector Initial or Refresher Training Certificate as well as your current Management Planner training certificate. It cannot be expired for more than 1 year.
  3. After taking and passing the PROCTORED EXAM with at least 70%, follow these steps to submit paperwork to MDNR for license:
  • Send the STC course completion certificate, a passport size photograph of yourself against a blank white wall, along with the MDNR Asbestos Occupation Certification Application (link is at the bottom of our front website page) to AsbestosCertifications@dnr.mo.gov.

If you have never been certified by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and wish to perform asbestos inspections in Missouri, you must take the required Missouri State Asbestos Regulations Exam (call STC at 618.855.8764 for details), or choose a date here.

(note: if applying to Missouri for the first time, you will need to submit to them a copy of all your training certificates including your initial course certificates and your subsequent refresher certificates along with proof of completion of the Missouri State Asbestos Regulations Exam).

The Management Planner course is required for individuals consulting with K-12 schools on managing Asbestos-Containing Building Materials (ACBM) discovered during the required school inspection and updating management strategies on ACBM that has changed in its condition discovered during the school’s required 3 year re-inspection.

Management Planner Re-certification is A four hour course.  It meets AHERA standards for re-certification, as well as the Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources requirements.

A re-certification course must be taken EACH year in order to maintain accreditation and to be eligible for the renewal of state Management Planner license, or for continued accreditation as a Management Planner according to AHERA.
