The Control Of Hazardous Energy – Lockout/Tagout
Energy sources including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, thermal or other sources in machines and equipment can be hazardous to workers. During the servicing and maintenance of machines and equipment, the unexpected startup or release of stored energy could cause injury to employees. Who must take this course?
All authorized employees who service or maintain equipment, as well as equipment operators and any other affected employees who work in the area where lockout tagout is being performed (not including persons in the construction, agriculture and maritime employment) are required to take this training to meet OSHA compliance requirements for lock out tag out in (29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)).
Once a person satisfactorily completes the course, an e-certificate .pdf is immediately available to save and print. Once purchased, you will have 90 days access to complete this course.
